As a lifelong Colts fan, I'm still resentful of Elway for what he did to the Colts, but I would never-the-less be delighted if Peyton came to Denver. I want Peyton to go out in style while my team is rebuilding. If the Broncos can go 8-8 with Tebow, they can go undefeated with Manning (IF his arm recovers). If you think that there is any comparison between Tebow and a top flight QB, you need to go back and watch some Elway tapes. I appreciate your loyalty, but it isn't remotely close. Manning is one of the best QBs to every play the game, while Tebow lacks the fundamental skills needed to even play the position. His only attributes are confidence, calmness, and the will to win. I assure you that Peyton has all those in spades, and much much more.

Personally I think that Peyton will be fine, and that he will play until he is 40-42. If you would like to compete for the Super Bowl every year between now and then, you might want to support this deal. I suspect that what Elway knows more than anything is that the league will catch up to Tebow next year, and the Broncos will slip backwards. Give the man credit for swallowing his ego and doing his job - in YOUR best interests.

TT did good this year and will just get better with time. Manning did nothing this year and is at the end of his career. Getting a year or two out of Manning is stupid if it slows TT's development or causes the Broncos to lose him completely.

Cutler is traded for the worst QB in the league...Orton...Denver Broncos...Rubes.Denver hires ex-legend Elway...for some strange reason...maybe ticker sales? This is more than likely the case...the Denver Broncos at this time are the worst team in the NFL. But all they had to do was start Timmy and ticket sales would skyrocket...Denver Broncos...Rubes.Elway leaves both Orton and Timmy twisting in the wind. Elway is not exactly executive material. Tebow is a good QB and good for Denver, Peyton is the best player and will be the best for Denver if we can sigh him. If the Broncos staff can convince Peyton that we will draft, trade to improve the defense and get a little more help on the offense, then hopefully we have an outside chance to sign him for three years. Tebow can stay and learn from the best.

If Tebow is smart, he should demand to be traded to Jacksonville where he'll be more appreciated whether the Broncos will sign Manning or not. This moves with Manning shows the Broncos have absolutely no confidence in Tim Tebow, but the real reason I think is thatJohn Elway, the prima donna, cannot stand the national attention that Tebow is getting. With a boss like Elway, Tebow will never grow as a QB in the NFL. That's sad because Tebow is an incredible athlete.

The Broncos are rubes...they have the best young QB in the league and they're going after a has-been...typical...let's see here...they traded LIONEL TAYLOR...LYLE ALZADO...PEYTON HILLIS...SHANNON SHARPE...TOMBSTONE JACKSON...ummm, should I go on...?
The Broncos organization seems to think that they went 8-8 because of themselves...

The Broncos made the playoffs because of the defense, Timmy...and the kicker...it is called football...remember...the defense defends...the QB moves the team down...so the footballer can football.
Tebow is close to Ali status...and when he wins a few Super Bowls (with some team...maybe Jacksonville)...he'll get his yellow jacket...and he can finally do just one naughty thing...flip Elway off...
